2019 AFL English Speech Contest was held on October 24, with 17 contestants participating in this event. Speaking on one of the assigned topics, each participant was evaluated by two professional judges on his or her speech content and organization, and linguistic accuracy and fluency.

Speech contests are an important part of AFL language-training activities, and they provide an opportunity for our students to gain experience as confident public speakers.
