2010應用外語教與學研討會
2010北商論壇之「應用外語教與學」學術研討會，於99年11月12日假本校六藝樓3樓307專業教室舉行。本次研討會邀請美國北亞力桑納大學英語系應用語言學組(Applied Linguistics in the English Department at Northern Arizona University, USA) William Peter Grabe 教授及Fredricka Louise Stoller 教授蒞臨演講，會中校內外教師及研究生共發表16篇研究論文。
講者簡介
William Grabe is Regents' Professor of Applied Linguistics in the English Department at Northern Arizona Univeristy where he teaches in the MA=TESL and PhD in Applied Linguistics programs. He is interested in reading, writing, literacy, written discourse analysis, and content based L2 instruction. His most recent book is Reading in a Second Language: Moving from theory to proctice (Cambridge University Press, 2009). He has also co-authored Theory and Practice of Writing (with R.B. Kaplan; Longman, 1996) and Teaching and Researching Reading (with F. Stoller; Longman, 2002) and co-edited Directions in Applied Linguistics (Multilingual Matters, 2005). He served as editor of the Annual Review of Applied Linguistics (Cambridge University Press, 1990-2000). He is a past President of the American Association for Applied Linguistics (2001-2002). In 2005, he received the Distinguished Scholarship and Service Award from the American Association for Applied Linguistics.
