1. Aim of the Conference: To investigate and discuss the theories and application of English teaching and learning as well as the pertinent fields
2. Time & Date: 09:00 – 17:30, November 12th, 2010 (Friday)
3. Venue: National Taipei College of Business (No. 321, Sec. 1, Jinan Rd., Taipei 100, Taiwan, R. O. C.)
4. Related Topics for Papers:
lLinguistics and English Teaching
lTheory/Practice of Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening
lTheory/Practice of Second Foreign Languages Teaching
lTheory/Practice of Chinese-English Translation and Interpretation
lTheory/Practice of ESP, CBI (contented-based instruction in L2)
lOther Areas: Curriculum, Placement Tests, Remedial Teaching, Freshman English, English Proficiency Tests, etc.
5. Paper Format:
lEdit the paper in MS Word A4 style (vertical) and use the font Times New Roman.
lFont size # 16 for the title and # 12 for the text.
lThe first sentence of each paragraph should not be indented, and the paragraphs should be aligned to the left margin.
lAll sentences and paragraphs should be single-spaced.
lCenter the title on the paper.
6. Paper Submission:
lPapers related to the topics, written in either Chinese or English, are all welcome (the presentation should be conducted in the same language as the paper).
lText (within 3 pages, including the title of the paper, key words and abstract) should be submitted as MS Word attachment to heinzjkw@hotmail.com by e-mail before Oct. 25th, 2010. The author’s name, title, address, telephone number and institution should be clearly specified in the e-mail.
lAll papers will be audited under blind review.
